CBR Police charge man with cocaine trafficking

A Florence man faces charges in Sydney Provincial Court today as part of ongoing Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into drug trafficking.

 

Street Crime officers executed three search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at Sydney Mines residences on Pitt Street, Young Street and Brooklyn Avenue on Thursday August 31st, seizing Cocaine packaging, scales and approximately $50,000 cash. A man was arrested on Pitt Street and later remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre.

 

John Joseph Reynolds, 51, is charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. The Street Crime Unit continues to investigate.
