Cape Breton Regional Police are on scene in the Lake Road area of Glace Bay, where they responded to a vehicle partially submerged in the water at approximately 2:30 PM.  

On arrival, officers noted an unresponsive male in the water beside the vehicle. Glace Bay Fire Services assisted with removing the man from the water for treatment by EHS who then transported him to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.  

Members of the Traffic Safety and Forensic Identification Units continue to investigate. Further details will be released when available.
