UPDATE: Thomas Mugridge has been located and is safe.

Cape Breton Regional Police are trying to locate 61-year-old Thomas Mugridge. The resident of Sydney Mines was last seen Monday afternoon, August 28^th at the Northside General Hospital and has not been in touch with anyone since. Caregivers are concerned for his wellbeing.

Thomas is known to frequent downtown areas of Sydney and is described as approximately 5’ 11” and 190 pounds, with black and grey hair, and very tanned skin. He was wearing black pants, a grey or black hooded sweater and carrying a camouflage-coloured backpack.
