Two men face cocaine-trafficking charges related to ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in the CBRM.

Cape Breton Regional Police Street Crime officers executed three search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act during the evening of September 8^th on Shore Road in Sydney and Armada Drive in Victoria Mines. Officers seized Cocaine and close to $100,000 in cash and arrested two men who were held for appearance in Sydney Provincial Court today.

Michael Anthony Cusack, 39 of Victoria Mines and Jeffery Scott Pearson, 42 of Sydney, are each charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Cusack also faces charges for Breaching previous Court-ordered conditions.
