CBS Survivor Winner Loses Property In Cape Breton Tax Sale

Richard Hatch won the million dollar prize in the first season of the popular reality TV show Survivor.

He later invested in Cape Breton properties in 2002 at a municipal tax sale. His purchases included properties in the community of Sydney Mines, Donkin, Sydney, Glace Bay and New Waterford.

Due to tax arrears, one of his properties was sold at auction, at the most recent Cape Breton tax sale.
