Age 79 of Halifax. Charles died suddenly on Wednesday, June 9, 2011 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII after a brief illness. He was born in 1942 in Halifax to Charles and Wayne Lorway (Deceased) and later the family moved to Sydney, Cape Breton. Charles practiced law at Lorway MacEachern law firm with his partner Duncan MacEachern. He moved to Halifax in 2011 after his retirement. Charles is survived by his wife, Marie and their son, Joseph, Halifax, as well as, Charles W., Ontario; Robert, Manitoba; Verne, Sydney and Norah, United Kingdom; grandchildren, Ava and Alyssa. Charlie's surviving siblings are Judy, Ontario; Eve, Halifax and Richard, Sydney. He was predeceased by his brother, James and his childhood best friends, Geoffrey Wilson and Robert Dillon (Sydney). Charlie was a volunteer with St. George's Round Church soup kitchen in North end Halifax. In keeping with his wishes there will be no memorial service now or at a later date. There will be a private interment in East Bay, Cape Breton. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Cres., Halifax.
