"Many of you might already know the story of how Còig formed, but it's still one of our favourites to share. We were originally solo acts put together to tour the Eastern United States to promote the Celtic Colours Festival. At the time, we had no idea that musical lightning would strike and it would lead to the formation of a band, let alone one that would still be playing nine years & four albums later. With the festival being the spark that ignited Còig, it seems fitting that after almost a decade of touring the world with us, this Celtic Colours was Jason's last performance with the band. Jason has decided to no longer perform as a member of Còig after dedicating so much of his time and incredible musicianship to the band. You'll still see Jason performing with all of us as duos and trios like our pre-Taste of Celtic Colours days, and the band will continue forward with touring while he pursues different musical avenues. We love him to the moon and back, and can't wait to hear the amazing music he'll be making in the future. ❤️❤️❤️❤️"
