Colbourne Cares is a corporate social responsibility program that supports a range of local organizations through corporate donations, fundraising activities, and a food truck that supports community events. 

“At the core of our values is giving back to the community,” says Brad Jacobs, General Manager of Colbourne Auto Group. “Our philosophy is that we want to support the community that supports us.” 

In the last year, Colbourne Cares has helped over 50 local organizations. Prior to joining Colbourne Auto Group, Jacobs was CEO of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation, so it’s not surprising that local healthcare is one of the causes that Colbourne Auto raises money for.  WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW

As well, the Colbourne Auto Community Food Truck supports Cape Breton organizations by giving away free fries at community events and fundraisers.

“Our Food Truck was on the road over 50 times last summer,” said Jacobs. “And now that things are opening up again, we anticipate this summer will be even busier. So if your organization is holding an event and would like us to be there, please get in contact really early so we can schedule you in.”
