CBRM Councillor Amanda McDougall has joined the ChangeMaker team and will help raise money for the Cape Breton Hospital Foundation. Like other ChangeMakers, she's asking for community support to raise money for this great cause.
McDougall is also taking a fun and creative approach to her fundraising efforts.
As a resident of Main-a-Dieu, one of her favorite ways to spend her downtime is strolling along the shoreline hunting for sea glass. She's amassed quite a collection, and she sometimes uses it to make original coastal themed artwork.
Each person who donates to Amanda to support the ChangeMaker program will have a chance to win a piece of sea glass art she created.
On September 27th, 2017, she will draw for a winner. One of her sponsors will be lucky enough to win a lovely piece of art for their support.
