CPR Police request help to identify suspect in Needs robbery

Cape Breton Regional Police are looking for help to identify a suspect in a robbery at the Needs Convenience Store on Alexandra Street in Sydney.

 

On May 24th, officers responded to an alarm at the location just after 11:00 PM, where a store clerk reported a man demanded cigarettes and cash, took them, and left on foot. The suspect is described as man in his 30s with dark facial hair, a moustache and beard. ((Photo above))

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black face mask, black leather jacket, jeans, brown boots and black and tan-coloured work gloves.

 

Officers patrolled the area with the assistance of K-9, collected information from witnesses and video surveillance, and the Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene for additional evidence.
