Dee Note Music Announces New Single Release for Colette Deveaux - New Single “HONEY”

Sydney, NS — November 25, 2019.  Dee Note Music is pleased to announce the release of “Honey” by Cape Breton singer-songwriter, Colette Deveaux. This is the first single to be released from the new album of the same name.  After many years of writing and performing, this is Deveaux’s first album release. Honey, is a highly-anticipated collection of mostly original material. The full album is scheduled to be released in late January 2020.

Formed earlier this year, Dee Note Music is currently working exclusively with Deveaux on career development. “I have known Collette for nine years and have watched her perform and grow as an artist during that time,” says Dee Note Music founder, Duane Nardocchio. “She has emerged as a powerful songwriter with a unique and incredible voice. Couple that with her personalized guitar style and her ability to captivate an audience, and I developed a new appreciation for the artist that is Colette Deveaux. When she approached me back in May 2019 and asked if I would consider assisting in her plans to move forward as an artist, I couldn’t refuse. If there was anything I might possibly be able to do that could get more people to hear her music and see her perform, I wanted to do it.”

About Colette Deveaux

From the picturesque Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, on Canada’s east coast, Colette Deveaux grew up as many aspiring young musicians from the island did, turning to music as a personal interest and a way to connect to the large, diverse and close-knit music community that has been part of the culture of her homeland for decades.

Deveaux started her musical journey early, and spent years searching for her sound, learning songs, and finding her voice before discovering her ability to craft original lyrics and put them to music. Deveaux has had a busy year in 2019. She has been in the studio off and on over several months while keeping up a steady schedule performing both solo and as the Colette Deveaux Band. Through these performances she has shared the stage with artists including Adam Baldwin, The Town Heroes, Christine Campbell, The Trews, Madison Violet and many more. She took first place in the CBMIC Emerging Band Contest with the Colette Deveaux Band back in May 2019 and performed at the 10^th anniversary HUFF songwriters show in August. Now she is heading back to the studio to finish the new album.
