Striped bass is absolutely delicious. This recipe is extremely simple to prepare and when it comes out of the oven, looks like it belongs on the menu of a fancy restaurant.
Ingredients:
- 1 whole striped bass (Est 28 Inches)
- 1 1/2 cup of equally mixed freshly chopped parsley, dill, and thyme.
- 1 1/2 lemon sliced.
- 8 - 10 asparagus evenly chopped.
- 6 garlic cloves sliced.
- 18 cherry tomatoes.
- 1/3 cup of olive oil.
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt.
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano.
- 1/4 teaspoon basil.
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Clean striped bass, chop tail, chop head and cut 2 equal portions.
- Mix salt, oregano, basil and black pepper together.
- Place some of the herbs and lemon slices into each portion of fish.
- Evenly drizzle olive oil into a rimmed baking dish.
- Place bass portions into baking dish sprinkle with dry spice ingredients.
- Evenly place chopped asparagus, garlic and cherry tomatoes around the fish.
- Place a couple of lemon slices on each portion of fish and bake for 40 minutes.
- Before serving, remove ingredients from the cavity of fish, garnish with fresh herbs and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
