Delicious Baked Striped Bass Recipe

Striped bass is absolutely delicious. This recipe is extremely simple to prepare and when it comes out of the oven, looks like it belongs on the menu of a fancy restaurant.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole striped bass (Est 28 Inches)
  • 1 1/2 cup of equally mixed freshly chopped parsley, dill, and thyme.
  • 1 1/2 lemon sliced.
  • 8 - 10 asparagus evenly chopped.
  • 6 garlic cloves sliced.
  • 18 cherry tomatoes.
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil.
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt.
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano.
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Clean striped bass, chop tail, chop head and cut 2 equal portions.
  3. Mix salt, oregano, basil and black pepper together.
  4. Place some of the herbs and lemon slices into each portion of fish.
  5. Evenly drizzle olive oil into a rimmed baking dish.
  6. Place bass portions into baking dish sprinkle with dry spice ingredients.
  7. Evenly place chopped asparagus, garlic and cherry tomatoes around the fish.
  8. Place a couple of lemon slices on each portion of fish and bake for 40 minutes.
  9. Before serving, remove ingredients from the cavity of fish, garnish with fresh herbs and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
