Eldon’s Vision for District 5 • Eldon believes connecting the Sydney boardwalk to Wentworth Park further strengthens Active Transportation links in District 5. • Eldon believes cruise terminal expansion is vital to growing/retaining current visitation levels, attracting new business to our port and growing our economy. • Eldon believes the “Main Street Rejuvenation” pilot project for the Sydney Waterfront District will provide economic opportunities creating a vibrant active downtown for all residents of District 5 to enjoy. • Eldon believes growing economic opportunities in the port of Sydney has the potential to create good paying jobs for our younger and future generations. • Eldon believes fostering opportunities in partnership with groups such as Sydney Waterfront District Association, Heritage Canada the National Trust, Old Sydney Society, Sydney Boardwalk Musicians Society and Rotary Park Off-Leash Dog Park Committee have provided great service and enjoyment for residents of District 5. District 5 where I chose to Live, Work, Shop and Play.
