Englishtown Ferry Reopens But Experiencing Issues [VIDEO]

As of Friday, October 5th, the Englishtown Ferry went back into operation. MLA Keith Bain says "It's open for now...for Celtic Colours, but there's still work to be done."

As shown in the video below, some repair work was already needed on the on-shore ramp. The video was recorded on October 1st.

Some RVs have been having issues getting onto the ferry. The video poster, Norman Stockly, suggested that the ramps are "too steep", and this may be contributing to challenges for some vehicles.

Before planning a trip that includes using the ferry crossing, visitors should call ahead to check on the status. The telephone number is 902-929-2404.

In this day it seems totally ridiculous the problems they are having with the new ramp, send the engineering crew back to school,makes you wonder ,this is where our tax $$$$ evaporate, embarrassing situation there,come von people, a real head scratcher.
