When we asked young Cape Breton fiddler and bagpiper Joe MacMaster if he had any story-telling musical characters to recommend to the Trail he jumped on Pius MacIssac. Joe shared his first performance with Pius on the stage of the Glenora Distillery, Cape Breton Island. Pius’ second home, as he calls it. They still play together when they can and are a strong duo of friends to hang out with as well as listen to.
