Located on the northern tip of the Cabot Trail, North Highlands Nordic (NHN) is a cross-country ski facility that features 12 kilometres of groomed trails with panoramic views.

NHN was founded in 1977 by a small group of enthusiastic skiers, who shared a love of winter and wished to promote the sport. NHN offers both ski and snowshoe rentals, as well as instruction by certified trainers to get you started if you are new to the sport. Their ski room and trails are open daily during the winter months from 10am to 5pm, weather permitting. 

“We have trails for all ages and levels of ability,” says NHN President Linda Murray. “And visitors can socialize in our heated ski room after their trek. If they bring a lunch, we provide hot liquids like tea and coffee. It’s a great outing for the whole family, and everyone is welcome!”
