When members of one Northside band get together to play a gig they are not just doing it for their audience, they are doing it for themselves.

Patricia Cox, Kenny Cox and Tim Jackson are three of five members of Flipside and they said things over the past year have been different. They say since the pandemic hit they haven’t been able to play as much and they are looking forward to the return of live performances.

Patricia Cox is a vocalist for Flipside and she said it has been a tough year for bands and people who perform.

“We haven't been getting too many calls and that is disappointing because we love to come together as a band, not only to play for others, but we just like to spend time together jamming,” said Patricia Cox.
