Hello everyone. George D Lewis Hub School Society will be holding a public meeting Wednesday night 7:15 at the George D Lewis School. We will be showing our vision for the George D Lewis Hub School would look like. Members of t our society have been working hard on this project for over a year. We have a plan that will set the standards for Hub Schools in Nova Scotia.....But as most of you have heard the school board has decided to vote against our plan we submitted June 1. Which we stated was only the beginning for our vision of the Hub School. We tried time and time again to work with this school board but as we found out that they lacked vision and would not think outside the box. Our group has been knocking down every roadblock that the school board has put up and we will knock down this one as well and once again prove them wrong. This school board will learn that the community of Louisbourg will not give up the fight. Hope to see everyone there.

Lewis School closure to attend this meeting in Louisbourg tomorrow night at 7:15 pm. If anyone has any questions of what obstacles the Hub School Society has endured, what work they have done to encourage the CB Victoria School Board to keep the school open, and now, what they have planned,after the recent Board vote to close the school by June 2017, please attend this meeting! There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.You should not be disappointed.
