The Cape Breton Cricket Association (CBCA) and the Cape Breton Island Centre for Immigration (CBICI) are hosting a community-focused cricket tournament as a lead up event to Hello Cape Breton/Kwe’ Unama’ki, the island’s largest multicultural festival. The event will be held on Sunday, September 15, from 10:00am-7:00pm, at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex at CBU (1250 Grand Lake Road). The tournament of 6 teams from across Nova Scotia will be played throughout the day, and from 4:00pm-5:00pm the community will be invited to learn to play the game. This event is free and family friendly - all are welcome and encouraged to attend!
