Highlanders Basketball Camp Shows Community Pride

The Cape Breton Highlanders basketball camp for local youth started strong this week (July 10, 2017) at full capacity with over 60 kids participating in the week-long camp.

The camp is lead by team President and GM, Tyrone Levingston, with pro players Anthony Walker (Texas), Chad Frazier (North Carolina), and newcomer Julian Allen (Connecticut).

On Wednesday, the young players took some time away from the hardcourt to learn about the importance of community pride and volunteering by helping with the cleanup of the Atlantic Street recreational fields.

The Cape Breton Highlanders franchise invites fans, media, and the general public to a news conference about exciting new announcements on the upcoming season:

My daughter Gracie (aka Halifax Hurricanes L'il Swish) traveled to Sydney to take part in Tyrone's basketball camp. Thank you for having her! "Halifax" had a blast and increased her skill level on the court too!
