Clinton Springer | Shaquille Keith
The Cape Breton Highlanders announced a player trade that will see Shaquille Keith go to the Windsor Express in exchange for Clinton Springer.
Shaquille Keith is a 6'5" Forward from Brampton, Ontario. Keith's style of play is to attack the basket. This is his second season in the NBL Canada.
Tyrone Levingston, President and GM of the Highlanders, shared his thoughts about the trade by saying, "Shaq has strong skills and a big heart and we want him to succeed on and off the court. We think the Windsor system will provide a good structure to allow him to grow as a player. I know our fans love Shaq and this trade will be tough news for them as it is for us."
Clinton Springer is a 6'4" Guard/Forward from London Ontario. Springer is a long-range jump shooter. Springer is in his third season in the NBL Canada, having played for Windsor, London, and Niagara. He was once the CIS Rookie of the Year at Brock University before transferring and graduating from Carleton University in Ottawa.
Levingston added, "Clinton is a veteran who adds another shooting threat to our team. We think his size and quick shot will fit in well with our pick-and-roll style of offense."
