Glace Bay General Hospital Emergency Department Temporary Closure

The Glace Bay hospital Emergency Department will be closed Sunday, June 14th at 3pm and will reopen Monday, June 15th at 7am.

This closure is necessary because of the unavailability of physicians to cover the shift.

Glace Bay area residents needing emergency service should call 911 or go to the Emergency Department at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney.

If you have a NON-URGENT health matter, call Health Link 811 to talk to a Registered Nurse.
