As manager of the Cape Breton Farmers Market, Pauline supports and engages with over 40 local small businesses each week.
She is the strongest advocate for buying and supporting local.

Small business is the backbone of our community and employs over 8 million Canadians.

With her hands on approach and extensive knowledge Pauline will represent and advocate for producers and consumers to reduce unnecessary and outdated barriers in the industry and will have an open line of communication between business, customers and anyone who wants to discuss how as a community we can move forward efficiently and effectively.

Pauline knows the struggles our seniors are having with affordable and supportive housing, rising food and oil prices and the cost of medication.

Pauline is passionate about our health care or the lack there of. With over 69,000 Nova Scotia's without a family doctor it's not hard for anyone to see the current system is broken. Pauline knows that all Nova Scotia's deserve timely access to health care, and feels strongly that mental health should be treated as equal as any physical injury. Pauline will work hard to bring doctors to Cape Breton to not only fill the role of doctors retiring but to have new doctors take new patients.

Pauline has been engaging and mentoring our youth for over 15 years, she has setup programs with schools, service clubs and local groups. She has introduced them to home gardening and the benefits of growing what we eat. Pauline understands that engaging our youth today will help them tomorrow and in the future.

Pauline is with us! as a community, as an advocate and as our voice, she is strong, passionate, and a fighter for what is fair. The only choice for MLA Sydney - Membertou is Pauline Singer.
