Intro to Birding webinar Hike Nova Scotia’s Intro to Birding webinar is geared for new and experienced hikers interested in learning more about watching and identifying birds. Taking place at 7 pm on May 17, join Diane LeBlanc, President of the Nova Scotia Bird Society, as she introduces how to bird while hiking. She will cover topics including birding etiquette, equipment, common birds to watch for and areas and times to spot certain types of birds. Diane will share some of her experiences birding in favorite hiking locations. The webinar is supported by the Nova Scotia Bird Society and the NS Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage. Registration is required in advance.
