The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation and the Cape Breton Cancer Centre received $10,000 after Sydney Credit Union placed in the 8th Annual Concentra Empowering Your Communities competition. Sydney Credit Union CEO Carol Ripley and Concentra’s Darrell Evasuk are seen here presenting the cheque.

The donation will help to ensure Cape Bretoners who are undergoing cancer treatment don’t have to travel off island for care, instead they will receive it here at home.
