Kevin Hardy wanted to make the best take out fish and chips in Cape Breton. He wanted to provide Cape Bretoners and visitors with a delicious meal and excellent service at an affordable price. Kevin opened Hardy’s Seafood Delight on Mira Road this summer with very high expectations of what he would deliver for his customers. He realized that the only way to deliver such a high-quality offering was to have high expectations of his suppliers. “I explained my vision to each and every one of my suppliers and I asked them to be part of delivering something extraordinary to Cape Bretoners.”
His suppliers stepped up, including Scotia Software, the developers of Hardy’s point of sale system (POS). Kevin says, “We needed a POS that was fast, easy to learn, easy to use and 100% reliable. We wanted accurate record keeping, and we wanted to work with someone who was responsive to our concerns.” Scotia Software made some modifications to their Scotia Enterprise Manager POS System to suit Kevin’s specific needs. It’s another example of two Cape Breton companies working together to create something great. The result? Well just drop by Hardy’s Seafood Delight to experience a delicious meal and excellent service!
