With help from social media, Cape Breton is fast becoming one of the top travel destinations worldwide, known for it's beautiful scenery and friendly people. Properly managed, it has the potential to provide year round employment and a pride in who we are and where we are lucky enough to live. So the next step should be finding an individual(s) who could establish a firm mandate and develop a realistic and unified plan for Cape Breton's future. Any development of urban water frontage should be closely and independently monitored for any effect it might have on existing businesses and most importantly the environment. Here in North Sydney we are left to explain the senseless and just plain stupid actions taken by "The City of Sydney". Best of luck to Louisbourg and it's tourism related businesses.
Lucky Louisbourg.
