NASA Terra Satellite March 21, 2019

Well it doesn’t get too much better than this!  The entire Maritimes – almost cloud free – and in the centre of the satellite shot this morning from NASA’s Terra satellite. 

The overview shows the browns of spring in many places throughout the mainland – especially the Annapolis Valley – Truro area, as well as PEI.  Not much in New Brunswick as yet.  The close up of Cape Breton below shows the browns really coming out around Sydney and Port Hood. Lakes are still ice covered.
