Does anyone else think it is extremely funny that the Nova Scotia Provincial Government can not tell us what money is being spent in CBRM and Cape Breton. We have been asking for the amount of infrastructure that was spent in the two regions (CBRM & HRM) and we can't get that answer. We believe that if the Nova Scotia Government provided that information, it would be extremely embarrassing to them. If HRM does not qualify for Equalization because they are a "Have" municipality and the infrastructure spending is through the roof and CBRM who is a "Have Not" municipality and has very little spent on infrastructure, then what we are saying is all true. This is likely the reason the answers are not being provided. What has to happen before the government is held accountable to the tax payers who elect them?
