Billy MacLellan is a successful Cape Breton actor. Many will remember his co-starring role in the Ethan Hawke firm Maudie. Now Billy is making a call to action in his hometown of East Bay. Friends are hosting a fundraising event for Carrie Ann Bates-Maloney, a local mom recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. He would like people to donate and attend.

Inspired by Carrie's daughter Jamie's love of the movie, Billy is providing his copy of the movie script and a promotional poster to help raise money during the silent auction.

When: Saturday, March 31st
Where: East Bay Legion, Howie Centre

Time: 7 pm to Midnight

• Tickets are 5.00 at the door, 19+ event (no minors)
• Door prizes and silent auction
• There will be a cash bar, and tea, coffee.
• Munchies welcomed (no refrigeration or heating required) chips, pretzels, or sweets.
