Looking at the images from NASA, June 13th, 2023 was Nova Scotia's turn for smoke from the fires across the continent. 

Attachment 1 (above) shows the extent of particulates in the atmosphere from NASA’s Earth site. Satellite imagery from NASA’s Worldview site (below) shows it visually. 

NASA’s Aqua satellite shows the conditions in Cape Breton on June 13th (below).
