NASA’s Terra satellite captured a good shot of Nova Scotia on February 16, 2022 after the large snowstorm the other day.
The zone with no snow cover along the eastern shore of the mainland and Cape Breton that showed up in the last satellite shot is now covered with snow. Ice buildup in the Northumberland strait is now cascading into Georges Bay. No large ice build-up in the Gulf, with nice cloud streets picking up moisture and directing to the Cape Breton Highlands. Not much sediment in the ocean along the shore.
