NASA Terra satellite - 21 Aug 19
NASA’s Terra satellite acquired a good shot of Cape Breton Island on August 21, 2019
The phytoplankton bloom in the Gulf appears to have dissipated, although there is slight discoloration in the Cabot Strait and offshore to Sable Island. A fog bank appears along the eastern shore of the mainland. Cape Breton is essentially cloud free – not even any clouds from any daily sea breeze effect, or jet contrails.
