The New Dawn Centre for Social Innovation is a mixed-use facility with sustainable working, co-working, performing, and gathering spaces that draw in and amplify Cape Breton's creative, innovative and forward-looking energies.

Gymnasium

This big and bright gymnasium makes a great space for team sports and recreation leagues, w/functioning scoreboard and basketball nets, as well as floor anchors for volleyball nets. The space is also a great area for large events such as conferences, lectures or for larger workshops. Limited number of tables and chairs are available for use at no additional cost.

Boardroom

This bright and spacious space is perfect if you require room to accommodate up to 25 people,. It is ideal for board meetings, co-working space, or other smaller events.  (In-house catering available upon request.)

Community Room

The Community Room is exactly that! One of the most popular rooms at the NDCSI, it is a large, bright, accessible space on the main floor. Perfect for meetings, classes, workshops, and receptions.

Accommodates up to 60 people.

Classroom

We can't give you this one, as the Cape Breton Island Centre for Immigration would not be pleased! :)  However, we do currently have a limited number of classrooms that are available for rent.

Accommodates up to 30 people.

At 733 sq ft., the classrooms are spacious and lined with large windows, allowing for lots of natural light.
