There was not one word mentioned in the Chronicle Herald about CBRM's major job loss yesterday. The online edition was just checked and nothing was found there as well. The closing of the Servicom Call Center yesterday saw over 600 people now with out a job in our region and it most certainly is a newsworthy story. The major Canadian news outlets, like CBC News World, are covering the story as the number 2 story in the headlines and it is talked about at the top of every hour.

With the loss of so many jobs just before Christmas, should this not be mentioned to the residents of this provinces capitol city? It is a sad day when Cape Breton sees over 600 jobs gone and it is not even mentioned in the provinces major news paper.
