If you ever thought that location might hinder your business, then #PitchTweet is here to prove you wrong!

Momentum and Twitter Canada have partnered to hold a #PitchTweet competition right here in Cape Breton. This event is the first of its kind in Canada. The competition is open to the world with two winners to be awarded, one globally and one locally.

The day begins with a workshop on Communicating Business Messages using Twitter with Cam Gordon, Head of Communications for Twitter Canada. The workshop is followed by a 45 minute open question and answer session.

After you break for lunch, Permjot Valia will walk you through value proposition and pitching tactics. When you're ready, take your new skills and carefully craft your #PitchTweet as the judges will be waiting!

The #PitchTweet Competition will take place from 4 - 5pm, and the winners chosen shortly after. Fantastic prizes to be announced!
