Has basketball/sports helped you in your life? |
Playing basketball made me work hard! I wasn’t the greatest ball player but the game taught me a lot about the importance of team work. I was a hard worker on the court! As the saying goes, there’s no “I” in team. I liked how my teammates depended on me and I could depend on my teammates too! This was a great feeling to be able to rely on your teammates to pick up your slack if you made a mistake. Deciding on playing basketball was an important decision for me because it kept me from making bad decisions off the court! Basketball taught me discipline. Basketball kept me on the straight and narrow. Basketball gave me direction! I learned that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I was able to stay in shape and improve my game the more that I played it! |
Have you played basketball after high school? |
