Since only certain people can see only certain comments on Jaime Battiste Facebook page, we are posting one of his postings and the comments we have made that not everyone can see. These politicians are now blocking comments from the public and allowing certain people to see the comments, such as the person who made the comment.
If you are a public figure and using a social media platform to communicate with your constituents, you should not block comments from the public to see. Lucky for us, we have been advised a while back from a good friend of the NSEF, to screen shot all comments we make.
So here is what Jaime Battiste posted and below are the comments we made that you, the public, can not see on his page:
"Even if I’m putting my foot forward for the LPC Leadership, I’m always happy to make time for conversations with the constituents of Sydney-Victoria.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to chat today, everyone!"

You have to be kidding Jaime. Listening to your constituents???? We have waited years for you to get answers about our rights under section 36 of the constitution. Nothing but silence from both you and Mike Kelloway. You are not listening to your constituents sir
Martha Ross
Nova Scotia Equalization Fairness What a disgraceful human being he is putting his name forward for prime minister when he can’t do a thing as a MP
Richard Collis
How about helping NSEF to get our fair share of equalization funding . That would be helping ALL your constituents
Martha Ross
Richard Collis He never did anything as an MP, can you imagine him as the prime minister, he is a joke
Charles Sampson
You are a disappointment as a federal elected representative of this country. Both you and KELLOWAY have allowed your constituents to be manipulated on the federal Equalization entitlement and on the federal 50% commitment to fund the provincial health care for 47 years. In 1977, Pierre Trudeau unilaterally cut the federal funding commitment to just 20%. No wonder health care is being privatized by provincial Conservative governments. You guys are making it a cake walk for Poilievre to finish destroying the public healthcare system.
Martha Ross
Charles Sampson You are a 100% right Charles, he never answered one of my emails over all the years he was elected, disgraceful.
So, in the spirit of transparency, there are some comments that are positive from Jaime’s followers.
What kind of politician blocks the public from reading comments on their social media page? We called out Jaime because he stated that he is listening to his constituents, but he ignores them.
We are waiting for a long time for answers from Ottawa that we asked both Mike Kelloway and Jaime Battiste to secure for the NSEF. Now he ignores the NSEF. That is a fact!
