A new Facebook group called Rally For Roosters! has launched in opposition to "the ban on roosters in the CBRM" in a newly proposed by-law.

The present text of the proposed by-law reads:

"Roosters are banned from any urban property or rural property where the housing of domestic livestock animals is not as an agricultural commodity"

A hearing for the Responsible Animal Husbandry By-law will go before the CBRM council for its 2nd reading, including a public hearing, on Tuesday, March 12th at 6 pm.
