Reinstating the Transit Cape Breton Bus Route through South Bar

Hi There!

My name is Rod Gale and I'm a community advocate and part of the South Bar Community Enhancement Association. For those who don't know, South Bar is the hamlet between Whitney Pier and New Waterford.

We've started a petition for the CBRM to reinstate a bus route in South Bar so international students and local workers don't have to walk up to a 1/2 an hour to an hour to the closest bus stop to catch the bus. The most frustrating part of this situation is that Transit Cape Breton buses travel back and forth through South Bar on their way to and from Sydney and New Waterford, and refuse to pick up passengers along the way!

We are hoping that you might aid us in the reinstatement of the bus route in South Bar by signing an online petition.

As a matter of fact that rate increase should not be included in any area's taxes. Absolutely ridiculous response from a politician.
