Actor, musician and artist Leon Dubinsky died on Tuesday, January 17th.

Dubinsky first became prominent in music with the regional touring band Buddy and the Boys in the 1970s and 1980s, and co-founded The Rise and Follies of Cape Breton in the early 1980s. His song Rise Again became a Canadian music standard after The Rankin Family recorded it on their album North Country.
