Canadian cruiserweight standout Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (20‑1‑1, 19 KOs) is back in training after a torn right biceps tendon derailed his scheduled May 3rd title shot against Badou Jack in Saudi Arabia.

His return is officially set for October 25, 2025, at Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, where he will headline in a 10‑round fight against Akani “Prime” Phuzi (14‑3, 6 KOs) of South Africa.

The bout is for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight Championship, marking a meaningful regional title opportunity as part of his comeback.

Rozicki emphasized that after his injury he’s focused on winning this belt and advancing toward another world title shot in 2026.
