Local boxing champion, Ryan Rozicki, is set to face experienced American fighter, Shawn Miller, on Saturday night at Centre 200. Today, the boxing promoters held a pre-fight press conference in Sydney.

The match will be for the WBC International Silver Title in the Cruiserweight division. Rozicki is currently undefeated as a professional with a 9-0 record and holds the NABA Canadian Cruiserweight Title. Miller is 18-4-1 and has experience fighting internationally including prior title fights in the Light Heavyweight division.

Since his third fight in 2010, Miller has only lost in title matches. Recently fighting at light heavyweight (175 lbs) will likely reveal Rozicki to be the bigger, stronger fighter. However, Miller has the experience advantage including having faced the 27-0, undefeated Rachid Jkitou in a 3rd round KO loss.
