So according to the CB Post, the not for profit CB Farmer’s Market pays rent at $6300 per month not including their heat and lights ….as well as $24000 per year property taxes to the landlord. (that’s another $2,000 per month folks) Plus internet, garbage removal, insurance, pest control, and get this…. a CBRM downtown development levy!!!!! What is wrong with this picture??? 🤬🤬🤬

A number of questions have to be answered here: - How did the $1,000,000 ACOA grant funding for a self-standing Farmer’s Market end up in the hands of CBRM? - Why was the Market “forced” to go downtown without any subsidies or special arrangements for municipal funding, knowing expenses would be much higher in that area? - At what point did the stipulation that the market go downtown enter into the scenario and on who’s authority? Once again, something smells rotten in the state of Denmark. This administration continues to manipulate whene’er it can and in devious ways. How CBRM ended up in control of this situation needs to be investigated and the facts need to be revealed. It certainly sounds like Pauline is holding her cards close to her chest in this interview, hoping to gain access for her vendors to get their goods….. but we the public must encourage her to come forward with this story to expose once and for all an administration that has been, and continues to be, totally out of control in the scope of its power.
