Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating after a person reported finding suspected human remains near Morley Road in Sydney on Monday. 

According to a news release, police were called to the area at around 5 p.m. 

A forensic identification unit is at the scene and will be working with the Medical Examiners Office to identify the remains, the release said.

Access to Morley Road is restricted and police are asking the public to avoid the area while they investigate.
