Police say Sydney Mines man, 42, displayed signs of impairment after motorcycle struck on TransCanada Highway
CBC NewsA Cape Breton man is expected to face criminal charges after a fatal hit-and-run on the TransCanada Highway in Bras d'Or, N.S., on Saturday morning.
RCMP said a 42-year-old man from Sydney Mines was driving a sedan and struck a 40-year-old motorcyclist from Bras d'Or, who suffered life-threatening injuries and died in hospital the next day.
The driver of the car fled, but was found nearby on Brady Drive in Groves Point exhibiting signs of impairment, according to the RCMP.
