Sadly when I hear his voice, I am skeptical. This is the same Cecil Clarke with the same inadequate staff at “City Hall” and the same favourites in the business community. We see it with his “preferred” list of tendering, his manipulations already for “his” agenda to the addition to Centre200 when it is clearly not wanted. He already has set his own agenda like a dictator…..has he been listening at all???? The two runners up in this election (if a coalition had happened Clarke would be upseated) have both clearly stated transparency and collaboration are desperately needed. The deal with Barbusci should finally be terminated with a transparent tendering process for our port on the agenda. We can already see that there are windmill parts on the opposite side of the harbour…..so another business group has stolen Barbusci’s thunder!!! Actually surprised someone didn’t mention that during the election!!! But this first contract renewal will be the indicator of Clarke’s new “transformation”. But let’s remember within two weeks of his last victory…..two “assistants” were hired!!!! I’m exoecting more of the wolf in sheep’s clothing….sadly….
