Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant

Inverness County District RCMP is seeking information on the whereabouts of a man currently wanted on an arrest warrant.

Leilan Andrew Thibeau, 31, of Port Hawkesbury, is wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant for Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Assaulting a Peace Officer, Resist Arrest, Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release Order, Breach of Probation, and Failure to Attend Court.

Thibeau is described as 5-foot-4, 140 lbs. He has black, balding hair and brown eyes.

Police have made several attempts to locate Thibeau, and are requesting assistance from the public.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Leilan Thibeau is asked to refrain from approaching him and to call Inverness County District RCMP at 902-625-2220 or local police.
