Up to 70 millimetres of rain may lead to localized flooding, Environment Canada says
CBC NewsEnvironment Canada has issued rainfall warnings for a large swath of Nova Scotia beginning Saturday evening and continuing into Sunday.
Rainfall of 50 to 70 millimetres is expected in Annapolis, Digby, Guysborough, Halifax, Lunenburg, Queens, Richmond, Shelburne, Victoria, Yarmouth and Cape Breton counties, as well as south of mabou in Inverness County.
According to the warnings, localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.
