The second annual Smokey Sessions Concert: Chill on the Hill is happening August 5th, 2023.

We have some of the finest Celtic performers Cape Breton has to offer with nominations for Junos, Canadian Folk Music Associations Awards, EMCAs and Music Nova Scotia Awards. We also have some very fine up-and-coming musicians who are just beginning to make their own mark on the music scene.

This year's lineup is bigger and more diverse than ever before, with indie pop rock, sliding up against blues and blue grass, and a good dose of traditional Celtic fare to round things out.

Our concert headliners features Dave Gunning and JP Cormier, Pretty Archie and Buddy MacDonald.  We are also pleased to welcome Jordan Musycsyn, Carmen Townsend, Jesse Cox, Good Dear Good, Jud Gunning and Rachel Davis and Darren McMullen to the stage.

There will be food and beverages to purchase on site throughout the day and evening. This festival style event is happening August long weekend and we hope to make it a tradition every year.
